Ecarma hired as assistant communications professor

Dr. Reginald E. Ecarma has been hired as an assistant professor of communications at Campbellsville University.

Ecarma was a member of Campbellsville University’s adjunct faculty from 1999 to 2000. He has also taught at the University of Louisville, Jefferson Community College, Kentucky State University and Midway College.

He received his Ph.D. in political communications in 1998 and his master’s degree in public policy and public affairs journalism in 1992 from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Va. In 1985, he received his bachelor of science degree in health from the university of Louisville.

In 1991, Ecarma served as a researcher for CBN News in Virginia Beach and a member of Mayor Meyera Oberndorf’s Sister City Commission for Mayor from 1993 to 1995.

In 1995, he became the managing editor for the Kentucky Journal in Louisville and was a consultant and guest on Your Turn, WBNA, a civic affairs talk show in Louisville.

Ecarma served as the state executive director of the American Family Association of Kentucky from 1995 to 1996. From 1997 to 2000, he was head tennis professional for the Louisville Tennis Center and was director of tennis for the Harmony Landing Country Club in Louisville from 1997 to 2000.
